BIG L was heard around the HF end of the band, at various times. It is difficult to say after so many years have passed exactly when many of the earlier pirates closed their door. The station was listed in the AUK lists for 1984, but by May 1985 it had gone.

Below, the BIG L QSL card as it was called, but in reality, it is a non data thank you card, like those sent out by the BBC World Service. But a very nice card it was. The last remaining link with Radio London, was in name only.
