CC Radio (Christian Community Radio) was a sometimes controversial religious station which operated from Merrion Square in Dublin. Transmissions are believed to have commenced during 1986 on FM 90.2MHz. They were also heard for a time on MW 1512kHz using a transmitter obtained from Tony Boylan of Radio Galaxy which had recently closed during September 1986. Transmissions were normally on a Sunday and on weekday evenings. The station was raided in late October 1987, apparently following interference complaints. It is not known if the station returned following the raid. More information about the station and its owner is in the newspaper articles below. |

| 1987_02_25_wed_cc_radio_902fm_1700-1830-gh922.mp3 New Mar 2026 | This recording was from an evening broadcast on Wednesday 25th February 1987 starting at around 5pm. Tapes are interspersed with what sounds like live programming. At one point the religious tape being played runs out and there is a gap before the tape is changed over. The audio levels are very variable on the broadcast, and there are only a couple of station ID's during the recording. As received in Dublin city centre on 90.2MHz. |
